What you call talent, is what I call young players. I mean Jamie McClen is 23ish & has played & scored for the Toon a few times but I wouldnt use the word talent.

Breen - Wasnt the sharpest player when he was @ Coventry. Great world cup but he just an old O'Brien.

Whitley was unemployed for months

What i class as young talent are young players getting regular games for club and country, Oster, Mccartney,Whitley and Thornton are examples of this, they may not be world beaters but they are only young and who knows what they can achieve given the right guidance and management.

You obviously know about football so i suggest you watch Breen and see how good he is, i think you will be suprised, and god bless the fact West ham got rid of him, If they think Thomas Repka is a better defender than him they are seriously mistaken, how much did you pay for Bramble ??? the amount you get the player for does not always determine the quality of them !!!

I dont think ANY West Ham thinks Thoma Repka is better than Breen. The main problem with Breen he got a BIG 12 month contract after his great World cup.

I am not a fan of Bramble. But O'B is as solid as Breen in the top flight.
