Too Evolve?

I havent because of the point i've been trying to make, the lineups are not that good. Or is that going completly over your head and it's too difficult too understand?

I've been to Junior G, ive been to other local nights in the north east, Detox, Digitized, Mayhem to see other good bookings but i've not been to Evolve for the simple reasons the lineups are unimaginative and nothing that isnt being done elsewhere.

This lineup is a good lineup i'll give it that but i wont be going as its the night fter Crasher, but you cant say Evolve has bigger and better lineups when half of the djs they book have already been booked in the last year at the likes of Junior G and when the rest of the names are booked because they are massive names and pull in the numbers.

Sure Evolve has bigger names but not necessarily better lineups.

I go see djs who consistantly impress me, if they dont impress me then i dont go and see them.

Thats why i havent been to see Marcel Woods, Judge Jules, Lashes, Above & Beyond, Marco Vand Ferry Corsten as i havent been impressed with any of them in the last two years.

Where as you look at other lineups with djs like Jon O'Bir, John O'Callaghan, Activa, Sea Tyas, Matt Hardwick etc they are not as big names as the ones i've missed at Evlove but they are much more consistant and much better djs.

there a huge difference between going to a local nite like evolveand seein djs who u only seen last mnth at a local nite and going to a nite nationaly known for how amazin it can like crasher and sein the same djs

Digital is a BIG club and newcastle is full of picky punters (see members list of this board) - for a night like evolve to do well in the current clubbing climate, maybe they have to appeal to a wider audience occasionally.

lashes ain't my taste - but who cares - i know it'll be full, money will be in the tills & then next month maybe a line up more to my taste will come along - and daresay more credible for the part time clubbers out there? - and thats not even taking Junior G/habit/hooked/shindig/freaky into account!

Evolve is what it is - there's no denying that and i don't think it's hiding behind it's - and personally it's not trying to be anything else - it's a class night out, in a big club, with decent clubbers, trying to run successfully and give the north east some big room trance!

Exactly, it pisses me off reading this shit, at the end of the day junior g is a smaller night, in a smaller club which doesn't take as much filling, therefor they can book up n coming djs as they won't rip your eyes out and still make some cash too,

evolve is a bigger night in a larger club therefor book well known djs to fill their club and at the same time making enough money bac to pay for these dj's, i'm sure that's logical??

if people want to see up and coming djs they know where to go, if they want big room trance they know where to go, both nights serve their purpous and it means we can see djs from both ends of the spectrum.

ask people to list their fave clubs in newcastle in order fave venue wise i tell you digital will not come out on top
