I was more interested in the Brazilians at the football match than the football itself, it was well funny watching them get agro. Suppose it wasn't bad seeing my first football match at the Maracana. And yes it was Vasco De Gama.

You don't get a cable car up the mountain to see Christ, you get either a tram or a mini bus thing. You get the cable car to the top of sugarloaf mountain which is something completely different. Excellent views of Rio from both!
