i don't get the whole being spoilt thing, both my little brother and sister are incredibly spoilt by my dad. there is so much more satisfaction in being independant and being able look after yourself.

both my brother and sister expect to live off my dad for the rest of their lives, they struggle to understand the value of money and no doubt would be in serious trouble if he ever decides to close his wallet.

i would never spoil my children. there is a fine line between generosity and being spoilt and I think a lot of parents try and overcompensate for the lack of parenting ability by spoiling their children.

I am really spolit and love it :D

I'm not as spoilt as i was when i was younger, but i still get spoilt. But by my friends too. Which is nice.

I'm an only child so my parents had no one else to look after (i think one of me is enough for anyone )

My mam would hardcore spoil me if she had the money, but she doesn't, so I have to spoil her with cash. She is very giving of her time tho :)

My dad died a millionaire and I saw a watch out if it - not spoiled there :)

Spoilt in some ways, as my parents sent me to public school. I was given a monthly allowance (pretty small compared to most) and had to basically buy all my clothes etc, going out money from that. However, I worked during school summer holidays from the age of 15, and worked through University. As soon as I finished Uni, that was it, no more money from the parents.

Having said that, my dad bought me a car last year as mine was knackered and I couldn't afford a new one (due to spending my hard earned pennies doing stuff on my house). The car was about six years old though, so nothing too expensive!
