This night comes in 3 parts... Im sure everyone on this message board will agree that a 6 hour event with the same music policy throughout can become boring and by 2am most of us caners are gagging for the afterparty and to bury our faces in loads of **** to entertain ourselves

So with that in mind we are going to bring you a bit of everything and just generally make the night extremely entertaining and basically cater for all your musical tastes....

So this is how we are starting the night. We will be hosting a battle of the bands competition over the coming months displaying some of newcastles finest up and coming talent, concentrating mainly on acoustic and warmup bands. Im sure no one wants to hear heavy metal when they first walk in, so we are going to keep it civilised.... well for the first hour anyways ....

So thats the first hour out the way, the music policy will then change and our london based house label Grin recordings www.grinrecordings.com will have you punching the air before youve even moved onto your 3rd drink In the 2 hour Grin session the acts are as follows

Now Neuroscience Recordings (brought to you by Che armstrong) takes the reigns and we start getting all loved up and euphoric www.vonyc.com are sponsoring this room alongside neuroscience recordings and we have landed a 4hour slot on their radio show to help promote the night so thanks mr van dyk .. and a very big thank you to che, without him none of this would have been possible (speech, speech). In this, the final part of the night we have 2 immense DJ's who are world renowned and have many releases under the likes of discover, armarda and many more...

i dnt really see juniorg as competition, im not putting on a trance night

this is going to be a monthly event that caters for all musical tasted, ive got live bands and other genres included in my night, besides newcastle has more people residing in it than a 600 capacity club, so i think both nights will get their fare share of punters

Fair play, I hope your right & things go well for ya Jaimie as I discussed last with you last week, but you have to be realistic here if your gunna try & headline trance DJ's a night after Junior:G.

...Will be good to catch up with Neal again since the summer, im making sure he stays the weekend.

This will be a class week, Van Dyk 2nd, Tyas 9th then this on the 10th, only been in the other rooms once a think, more nights like this is the order of the day

i see ya point mate and thanks for the advice, but im fairly confident im doing things right. I have thought alot about this and the 10th was the best night to throw the party, apologies if its gonna effect your night in anyway.

Jamie youv'e totally misinterpreted what I was trying to get across, you aint gunna effect our night. Your a very good mate & Im buzzin youv'e got stuff together & a wkd venue to start with your own little project.
What im trying to say isn't a dig or to try & deter you, it's advice, if your serious about making a go of things & wanting to line your pockets you know as well as i do a night/line-up of a simialr genre being the day after never works.
As I said before man I hope everything goes well, were all mates & want to see you do well, you have the venue & ideas there so it should most definately happen.

hes quality like, his musics original in my opinion, if you check his myspace he has another for his compositions and other genres. Really looking forward to hearing him play

yeah i know i did a remix of his "fire fly" track a while back and he seems canny enough he even gave me some feed back on it.
