From Mercury Music Prizes to appearances on Jules Holland, Roni is a living testament to sheer talent and determination. Over ten years ago his seminal ‘New Forms’ album with Reprazents propelled drum and bass into the credible mainstream and now he is re-releasing it with new edits of the classic tunes plus four brand new tracks. Having taken a break from DJing for the past year or so Mr Size is back and on the decks, come and check the man from Bristol in action… Alongside Roni Size we have DYNAMITE MC! Part of the infamous Reprazents project Dynamite has been at the top of his game for years now both as an MC and artist in his own right. With the success of Reprazent, Dynamite MC was signed to Talkin Loud, and recorded his debut album 'The World of Dynamite' releasing it on Strong Records in 2004. MC’ing up and down the country and across the world, its been a few years since he’s appeared at Turbulence so come check the man in action! Next up, we welcome FRICTION. This guy is definitely DnB’s man of the moment! Now signed to Dillinja and Lemon D’s Valve imprint he is a perfect position to take the DnB scene by storm! Snapping at the heels of Andy C for the title of best DnB DJ, he’s also on top of his game production wise with tunes like ‘Soulsurfer’, ‘Monsoon’ & ‘Nemesis’ firmly under his belt. Having held down the Mix Show on BBC 1Xtra for a couple of years this guy is no slouch behind the decks – catch him while you can! The Cambridge boys COMMIX, alongside Logistics and Nu:Tone have exploded onto the scene in the past couple of years with releases on Breakbeat Kaos, Hospital, Good Looking, Metalheadz, V Recordings and many more. Remixing everyone from DJ Die to Adam F and Fresh they have just unleashed their first LP on the mighty Metalheadz imprint – which incidentally is the first artist album on the label – no mean feat! Come and check the Cambridge duo in action! TEEBEE is a name synonymous with quality music. From his early output on the scene defining Certificate 18 alongside Photek & Klute as Black Science Labs to releases on Metalheadz, Moving Shadow, Renegade Hardware, Creative Source, Violence and of course his own Subtitles label, Teebee has been at the forefront of underground DnB for over 8 years. Just completing a new LP with Calyx forthcoming on their new label Momentum, Teebee is set to be pushed even further in to the fold with tracks like ‘Shape Of Things To Come’ & ‘Telepathy’ all receiving masses of air play from the scene’s finest. As a DJ, Teebee really puts on a show and is probably one of the best DJs on the circuit in our humble opinion. Resident support comes in the form of PHOBIA & SWITCH MC. This month's warm up slot goes to RUFFNECK Room two will be host to DEVIATE with DJs RYDE, MIKE JONES, NOSWORTHY, DJ EXEL & MC SANDMAN & MAN MAKE MUSIC DJS… There will be selected drinks promos priced at £2.00 all night.
