    Tonights Champions League Review!

Doesn't look like Arsenal are going to do it, there shite in the CL!

Celtic have eased through against Anderlecht! Well done to the Bhoys!

But the most amazing match ever have has taken place in the history of the CL.
Monaco are atm beating Deportivo La Courna, 8 - 3 What a ridiculous scoreline, some game that must of been.

    3-1

Great result and top performances all round for the hoops.

Young Miller was amazing again, Agathe was much improved, Larsson was Larsson :king:
and Hartson, Sutton and Stan helped control the game not to mention the boys at the back.

Reckon it will come down to the home game against Bayern, what an atmosphere that will be. :)

    MEGA ANTI-ENGLISH MATCH!

Berti Vogts will get his palm well greased by Sky for this one.

Berti isnt that keen on the old firm reckons that both sets have no pride in Scotland.
Craig, would you wave a SCOTISH flag @ a CELTIC game?

    Re: Re: 3-1

YES!! Especially if I was abroad for a game but more than likely just hold my hoops scarf up at Park head.

What's the obsession with the Celtic/Scotland/Ireland thing? Fact is Celtic have been an ambassador for SCOTTISH football all over Europe in the last two years, just like the tartan army have been for decades.

Berti's problem is with the lack of Scottish youngsters in the old firm sides. Where I understand his plight the players coming through just aren't good enough. Look at Liam Miller - played most of the games this season because he's good enough.

Scotlands sides through history have been built up by players both north and south of the border. I think England has the same problems to a lesser degree - look at the Chelsea revolution. Lampard, Johnson, Terry and Bridge are the only English players getting a look in and there still trying to buy better. Where will this stop?

GOOD MAN BE JOCK & CELTIC FAN WITH PRIDE!

In a recent interview Berti made remarks about the lack of scottish flags @ Old firm games & made a point of saying he only saw 1 scotish flag @ the UEFA cup final. He also mentioned the lack of Jocks @ the old firm teams & praised Dundee's youth system

It seems like we can't win if were Celtic, when we do well we get slated for being anti Scottish and being full of foreigners and when were not doing so well it's because were a Scottish team playing ina pish league against pish opposition. I suppose people like taking a dig when people are doing well. That's the British mentality.

    Re: Re: Re: Re: 3-1

I sympathise with Berti and think he is helping install a bit of pride and passion back in the side. We need that to match the lack of skill :D

I'd love nothing more if Celtic were doing well and they were full of Scottish internationals. It ain't going to happen though unless the youngsters coming through start gettting better.

Allez les Monagasques!!! Come on, Monaco for the Champions League! Well fucking chuffed with that score. Just missed out on the league last season, hopefully fuck Lyon this season. 3 points clear at the top of the league at home, and only Munich to beat to guarantee next round of europe. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
