This party is celebrating the success of the podcast so far, a perfect opportunity for the DJ's who have been involved to express themselves and the podcast listeners to show their loyal support. Making this such a special occasion is the involvement of Marie Curie Cancer care, all door funds will be donated to this fantastic charity.

The venue for this very unique occasion is Tokyo bar in newcastle, and more specifically the Tokyo terrace. Tokyo is a stylish venue close to Central Station that was formerly Po Na Na. The bar has been given an extensive makeover with two levels. There is a small bar downstairs and a roof terrace beer garden with bar upstairs.
The main bar downstairs has plenty of seating with cushions on the seats and there is an intimate area to the rear with subdued lighting and candles on the tables. The decor is of a modern style with a wooden floor and candelabras on the bar. The emphasis is on providing a relaxing and comfortable place to while away the evening.
The bar upstairs can be accessed by stairs to the right of the main entrance. This area is great for the summer as it has a rooftop beer garden area that is enclosed within the walls of the surrounding buildings. The bar extends on to the decked garden area and* there is heated lamps used when the weather is less favourable. There is plenty of seating with a mixture of low tables and chairs and high stools by the bar. From 4 - 7pm is happy hour(dice club).

the denon DN-HS5500 will be making its first ever live appearance to play some of the most intensely chin stroking, head bobbing, undanceable shuffling progressive dance music around ... all from a single deck.
