    I did think that until I picked up a AOC 17" tft last week (£310).

    It's so much better than any crt I've ever used (games and apps), I'm converted.

    The problem is that between work and home I use 4 monitors so that's gonna set me back over a G to go fully tft.

    Dixon's do a budget model for £180 as well, that's if your looking for a budget model.

    Advent are widely regarded as one of the best TFT monitor makers around, on a par with Sony... but you chimps wouldn't know that would you? :p

    I did read in sum magazine/article that Advent, were the worst manufactures of PC appliances around!!! They were bottom aswell, i don't no how much of it was true:confused: but i aint making it up:)
