Those figures have not taken into account player sales since July 2003 though and the fact we are looking to now finally buy players means it is nowhere near as bad as Leeds.
If they get relegated there will be no such thing as Leeds United football club this time next year.

Or the loyalty bonus paid out to players to leave.

The income levels for this year will drop & turnover will be down.

We are in nowhere near as much debt as newcastle, to take off that debt are the sales of

    Phillips
    MCcann
    Reyna
    Kilbane

and the likes of thome etc off the wage list

also there is the impending sale of Gray to either Marseille or Celtic.

If we where in loads of shit there is no way uncle bob would b allowing million plus bids for players like Stead.

If you take off the amounts on player sales which i have just told you it is below £25 million.

There is also Sorenson's transfer to take off it.

All operating profit/loss is without taking transfers into account, so stop going on about that you have all this extra money, esp if its transfers that are pending as the report was for last year not the coming year!

LEED'S were in £80mill worth of debt, so they sold a stack of players & got £60-70 mill in, yet they are £70mill in debt!!
I dont know how it all works, but I do know not to use simple maths to work out how much a club owes.

I will say this, that Sunderland have been pro-active in fighting their debt.

Shame he didn't play that well for well for Sunderland.
He was nowhere near Shearer's a 30yard pile driver last year @ SJP& he didn't do that well when Nobby stuck a pen past him @ SOL.
