Ripping Music Off Ipods any suggestions of freeware that you can download that isnt riddled with spyware? i've used sharepod before but that was the catalyst to spyware clogging up my machine.... any help - mucho gracias
why would you rip a poor lossy file of a portable player? surely theres a way to get it in its original format
no, i dont do lossless on my ipod. it was a 320kps Mp3 of a Remix that was destroyed after I had problems with my computer. it does not exist on the internet.
really can't understand your love for apple lossless tho tekno! i'd rather stick with 320kbps mp3. saying that, it's a question of how i use the music (decks n shit) as apposed to actual music appreciation (proper geet massive stereo set-ups/posh headgear and surround systems and that) however apparently wav's are just as good? and when the fuck is HDMp3 coming out properly? and i can imagine nothing much will accept it
LOL. . .ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS CHANGE YOUR FOLDER SETTINGS TO SHOW HIDDEN FOLDERS. OPEN YOUR IPOD AND YOU WILL SEE A FOLDER CALLED MUSIC. IN THAT FOLDER IS YOUR MUSIC. ALL NICELY RENAMED WITH STUPID NAMES AND IN A STUPID ORDER. ONCE YOU IMPORT IT BACK INTO ITUNES YOU GET ALL THE PROPER NAMES BACK. NO NEED FOR SOFTWARE AT ALL...N00BS!
yeh rooz, however i was only after one tune, and that anapod took seconds to find and install ect. it would make ipods much better if they just let you take music off it like!
You cant hear much difference with non audiophile equipment but on my system even 320 sounds like a tape, VERY flat. Electronic music esp techno and trance relys on little pings and high pitchs that MP3 removes. Your correct in thinking it dosnt make much difference tho you wont have heard a hi-end system in a correctly sized room. I might invite you to my next wine, cheese and techno evening.
Ha ha, your on mate the best quality i've heard is professionally set up KRK monitors with a wav playing through them. however for club use and home use the Mp3's are spot on how high end is your system anyway?
Its all Arcam with B&W speakers. I havent heard it at its best myself as iv never had a room big enuff to have it in but this will change when Technotowers opens this summer
OK CLEVERCLOGS...YOU TELL ME HOW I GOT ALL MY MUSIC OFF MY IPOD AND INTO MY ITUNES ON A DIFFERENT MACHINE WITHOUT THE NEED FOR ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE
NO. IT WAS A 5TH GENERATION 30GIG VIDEO IPOD...THE PINNACLE OF TECHNOLOGY...BACK IN THE DAY!!!111!!!1
