Recent William Hague speech. Conservative MP William Hague painting a picture of Prime Minister Gordon Brown's nightmare - poking fun at the prospect of European President Tony Blair. I quite liked William Hague actually - he harks back from the old Thatcherite years, of which i at least have a partial affinity towards. Him and Ian Duncan Smith made alot of sense to me. Howard just scared me, and Cameron is just Tony Blair MK 2 waiting in the wings.
Yeah, he certainly keeps that old school Tory vibe going. I still grin over Hagues' comment [2001] regarding Prescott, who had punched that protestor as one of his best and most dryly delivered comments. That it was 'not his policy to go around hitting electors.'
Aye! Look at the bald little fucker! all he ever did was try and rip Tony Blair. Awesome leader though!
i've always liked hague, talks a lot of sense. just a pity he had some terrible advisors while leader of the tory party!
i hate politiians, absolute scum. the amount of back stabbing and fake smiles they crack is disturbing, knowing these inept fuckers are in charge of the lives of 60 million people worries me. i know people say they could do better than other people at certain jobs, but i fucking could. why is it so hard to tell the truth, and why is it so hard to use common sense? fucking corrupt cunts
Power is corrupt by its very nature eh. Before that we had a monarchy who told us what to do, so we scrapped those lot and brought in the government who were supposed to be 'agents of the people'. The problem with Nu-labour as i see it, is that they basically had to pull a marketing scam to turn themselves from an un-electable party into one that everyone thought would sort the country out. Unfortunately they appear to be an even more slippery bunch than the last lot, and have bankrupted the country just like they have every other time they have been in power I wouldnt vote for the current tories either tho, or the libdems for that matter
