oh dear oh dear oh dear indeed... called up to the england squad & less than 12 hrs later dropped cos he was arrested for hoying that bottle but then released on police bail!!!
No wonder though, he tossed a glass bottle into the crowd. However the police are setting a president here that anyone that throws anything at a football match should be arrested and charged. Will it happen though, will it fuck.
sure tho whoever threw it at him in the 1st place should b arrested as well but do u think that'll happen? i'm not condoning what he did but if u were pissed off anyway & then someone did that to u wud u not b sorely tempted to react? the lads human after all!!
this happned during the man u game!!! at the end of the day they were & still are under alot of pressure...the lad loves his footy club that appears to b going down the pan big style & he retaliated to someone being a fucking prick towards him!!!
if it was going to be any game, it would have to of been the man u game. leeds and man u are like newcastle and sunderland. i know it's human nature to retaliate - but it's no excuse. mindless abusive fans shouldn't be tolerated though - more should be done to curb them
He should be dealt with the way Cantona was. Think it was community service and a massive suspension. I agree Ruth, the person who threw the bottle should be charged and banned from football grounds. I seen a guy get the jail for hitting the ref with a hot pie at a Morton V St Mirren match
Yeah he has and so he should if he threw that bottle. He should be banned for good he a danger to the supporters
the underlying issues need to b looked at tho b4 condeming the lad..... it's to do with his consious, sub-consious & his envoronment!!!
