what about this one then....... Six injured by exploding fondue set..... Three people were taken to hospital with serious burns after a gas-powered fondue set exploded. Firefighters and three ambulance crews administered first aid at the house. A small fire around the fondue set, which was powered by a small gas cylinder, was already out by the time they arrived. A spokesperson for South Central Ambulance Service said: "They all had burns of varying degrees and three were very seriously injured. She added: "This is unusual" bbc
i got a chocolate fountain ffs. you have to put about 8 blocks of chocolate in it and then dip strawberries and stuff in it as it flows. Then you have to clean it which involves blocking the sink with about 2 kg of solidifying wasted chocolate. whoever invented that should be stuffed in a septic tank for life IMO
after catering for few functions which wanted a chocolate fountain - you come to know the tricks of the trade. 2 bars of asda's ownbrand chocolate with a cup of veg oil in melted in the micro for a minute. bang it in and it wont solidify at all (well - at least for a week). apart from that its proper tack that should wiped from the face of our condesending, gadget driven world. right am off for a run with me ipod.
