    Biography

Neal Scarborough first established himself as a DJ through prime time shows on top Dublin dance stations Kiss, Pulse and Club FM. His sound of melodic trance with a hard edge soon had him playing Dublin clubs such as The Temple Theatre, Club Mono and various other venues throughout Ireland, confirming him as a firm favourite amongst Ireland's clubbing community.

In 2004, Neal first collaborated with John O'Callaghan on a number of different projects, the most successful coming under the guise of Inertia. Their first track, The Emerald, caught the ear of Discover A&R manager John Askew, who had no hesitation in signing Inertia to the Discover label. In 2005, their second release, The Chamber, really propelled them to prominence and the name Inertia was on every Trance DJ's playlist. It was played four times in one night at the Cream Ibiza launch party in May 2005 and by Paul Van Dyk at the Miami Winter Music Conference. It was also selected for the Armin Only DVD as well as being on the ASOT best of 2005 mix. Remixes for Ian Betts's Six-Thirty Records (Ayana – Shimmer) and Discover (Thomas Datt – Alone) came soon after.

2006 saw Neal's DJ profile raised in the UK with dates at Passion and Fixation. The release of a new project Distant Dreams on Enhanced Recordings under the guise of Nautical Imagery, received massive support throughout the year, being played by Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Adam Sheridan, Matt Hardwick on his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix and Paul Van Dyk who named it 7 in his Top 10 of 2006.

2007 has been Neal's busiest year to date. Stung On The River will be released on Discover in June with an awesome Sean Tyas remix. The much hyped remix of Art Of Trance - Madagascar will be released on Armada's Soundpiercing label. Neal has also been on remix duties for Armada with Dave 202 - Rain Against Her forthcoming on Captivating Sounds. With more collaborations and solo projects to follow, expect to hear the name Neal Scarborough more and more throughout the coming year
