Wax:On Presents Desolat Digital Newcastle Following the roadblock success the last time Wax:On brought the Desolat wagon rolling into town, Loco Dice will be returning to Newcastle to play his third ever date in the city. With a cyclonic global touring schedule and productions on labels such as Ovum, M-Nus, Cadenza, Cocoon and Four Twenty, and founding label Desolat in 2007 with Martin Buttrich, Loco Dice is an artist continually a...nd unyieldingly developing and fine tuning his style and sound year upon year. Following a constant stream of well-received productions, Desolat’s rising star Guti will be performing his long awaited live set. Argentinean-born Guti recently released his inaugural album on the label that has given his echoingly hypnotic jazz-infused house music a stable platform over the past 18 months and effortlessly moves through beautifully constructed productions that demonstrate the convergence and symbiotic nature of his musical past, and present. Leeds based Youandewan will be completing the line up and this impressive new talent has seen Midland enlisting Ewan’s (along with Radio Slave’s) services to remix his 'Bring Me Joy' release via This Is Music, as well as a release on Magicbag Music,’ Meet Me At Teufelsberg’, made up of slow burning and elongated house mutations and is his most mature work to date. Looking forward to this one! Saw Loco at the Future Music Festival in Melbourne last month, smashed it.
