To round off nicely what has been a very fine year indeed for the Jaunt&Pleasure party series, we have something EXTRA special lined up for the Christmas throw-down. With a no holds barred, anything goes musical and behavioural policy, we couldn’t think of anyone more wild than the Berlin based babe and disco pioneer - DANIEL WANG - to steer this one home (excited). !!LEGEND ALERT!! Daniel Wang is a true dance music hero of the highest order and having moved between musical hubs Chicago, New York and now Berlin you could say he’s been around (and round, and round). Back in the '90s when house ruled the world, Daniel Wang burst onto Chicago and NY scene. Ignoring prevailing trends and opting to become infatuated with analog synths and making 'real music', he popped out the other side of that zeitgeist with massive throwback disco excursions on labels such as his own Balihu imprint and Morgan Geist's Environ (most notably the 2001 inspirational pearl that is, IDEALISM). After refining his trademark sound bringing 70’s & 80’s disco and boogie back up to speed with sleazy bleeps and low slung beats, Wang took his sound to clubs worldwide and has since gained a reputation for being one of the wildest cats on the party scene. Basically, this is gonna be big. To add further to an atmosphere that is already gonna be overflowing, we have relocated this soiree to the 170 (person, animal or other) capacity, Dalston basement haunt - VOGUE FABRICS. Once we’re at capacity the doors will be shut so please arrive early to ensure you do not miss this rare opportunity to catch a musical LEGEND in such an intimate environment.
