Right here goes, i know its been mentioned in another thread but i found summit else out.

Jon O Bir is down to play Newcastle for Godskitchen, December 8th i think on his Myspace page which is more than likely an Arena event, Above & Beyond arent down to play anywhere in Newcastle at the moment yet Jono Grant has on his Nov 10 2006 Godskitchen @ Digital, Newcastle and Tony Mcguiness has on his Nov 10 2006 Gatecrasher, Newcastle - from that i think we can gather Above & Beyond are playing up here Nov 10th for one of them nights but who else u reckon will be ??

Digitals gonna be taking some licking shortly a know that...

Just seen there was more updates to this malarky in the other thread.

Oakenfold will pack a club out make no two ways about that if he is on, yet again tho as far as his DJ'in goes like Amnesia in Ibiza the Function 1 will get the shakings of his what can only be described as appaling and shocking mixing...

    O'Bir tho

good news for people who like hands in the air trance in abigger venue

bad news for smaller trance nights imo

whether oakey still cuts it is irrelevant , if he is playing newcastle it will be busy

    IF its start of december

WE NEED HARD FACTS! gods or crasher?!?! arean or digital?!? maybe both?

occasional events like this will do really well, trying to keep it running fresh and monthly? not so well i'd say...

i'd welcome big room trance stuff back occasionally! let's not forget junior G...

I suppose the old " £8 before 11pm " proved that theory like m8 as we arrived there 10.50pm to hand a tenna over with no change !!

Newcastle could do with a night like the Gallery at turnmills (sorry, broken record mode).

With that i mean something a bit more fluid than a "monthly trance night" .... and with some decent promotors doing something to keep a regular following of VARIED tastes that will turn up to more than just the hype you see on the front of mixmag.

Suxrely people are sick to death of 3+ hours of trance on a night out .... save it to the end PLEASE!

Theres alot more that SHOULD be done than sticking to one music genre and expecting to be a success purely on the back of that .... just says 'lazy promoters' to me.

    So right.

I still love a good slice of trance on a night out, but it does lose its appeal after a few hours.
