Generation Kill Anyone seen/heard about this? From the makers of the Wire, 7 part mini series based on marines in the war in Iraq based on a book wrote by a journalist accounting his time over there when America invaded. Could be quite good and got faiirly good reception in America. Starts this Sunday 10pm on FX. If you like The Wire you should like this.
seen an advert for this on fx, looks good like. the americans make stuff like this, and what do we get ? soldier soldier and ultimate force
Its all available via torrents... I got it a couple of months back. Only watched the first episode but seems like it'll be pretty good.
It's available on Graboid too. Direct download @ about 1mb per second. Took me about 25min to download the dvd screener of The Wrestler and that was 1.6gb ffs.
The thing with downloading things off torrents is it seems like a chore having to take time out of something to sit and watch an episode. Where as if it's on tv it doesnt seem like your stopping doing something. That probably makes no sense but it does to me anyway.
Download the film/tv show you want with Graboid, get hold of ConvertxDVD, stick in a blank dvd and leave your pc converting and burning the series for about an hour and there you gan. Sorted to watch on your telly.
I've got my PC hooked upto my TV anyway I just mean it seems like a chore to watch something that's on TV anyway by downloading it. Like if i have a film on DVD unless im really bored i wont watch it. But if i see that it's on sky movies that night i probably will.....
