    Its just not very good anymore, and i dont just mean the NE teams.

    Its at its lowest point possibley EVER since the EPL was born.

    Why is this?

    because it seems at the moment, the more money you have behind you - means the higher up the table you'd be. Man City is good evidence of this.

    I think it started with Abramovich and Chelski, they set the benchmark, and Man City, PSG, Malaga, the Russian teams, etc all slowly followed suit in the following years

    Surprised I had that one, because i'm not really 'that' in the loop with football most of/all of the time. However if you observe who's been taken over by a massive endless pot of cash has done well. Then there is everyone else in the league fighting for positions below them! I'm sure if some random sheik bought Leeds Utd (for example) and spent over 200mil on players etc, they'd be winning the premiership in 5 seasons. It's pretty much a Rich man's game of champ man, but real.

    I wonder if all of these movers and sheikers in the football market have got fantasy league teams...?

    man united dont even seem to be trying now. its like they are on defualt moving into oblivion knowing they cant comptete
