    (As stated before)
Im going to be truthfull here.
The last time there was any sort of Buzz about going to see Lashes or Tissera was years ago. Granted there legends within the industry but for me it's a very, very poor line-up, theyv'e done nothing for a good few years?
I have a huge amount of respect for Richard & what he's done for the scene up here but im really not sure which direction Evolve is trying to go in here?
It could be so much more, yet for some reason money seems to getting spent of strange line-up's that half fill the club?
If big hitters are gunna be booked, in my eyes, to sucesfully fill a club Digitals size they have to either:

    A) still be at the forefront of their game & unique, offer something clubbers want to genuinly go see?
    B) still the clubbers choice & have the ability to pull an up for it crowd without being 'just a name'.

The backroom would also be so much more if maybe just 1 fairly established name was booked, not nessicaraly a big hitter? either: house, electro, minimal?
I enjoy Evolve but some of the line-up's Iv'e seen have just left me wondering why?

    John Askew?
    Sander Van Doorn?
    Eddie Halliwell?
    Christopher Lawrence?
    Sean Tyas?
    Marcus Schultz?
    Stoneface & Terminal?

...Any of the above for instance would reveal the potential Evolve has? mixing this up with the nubreed, the up & coming Lads/lasses that are doing the business at the minute would see a massive difference!

    Bryan Kearney?
    Activa?
    Mandy reid?
    Thomas bronzwaer?
    Sophi Sugar?

Just my own 10p worth but some of the line-up's have been rather random in my eyes?

and no offence to jon mack, but i don't understand why a night from leeds has been given the upstairs room when it's such a superb platform for local house djs to be given a chance to play in a proper club?

Why dont you approach them about doing it?

tbh i dont know why you lot (You, Tyson, Mick Lindsay, Dan, other Michael etc etc) dont get together and offer to do it

I'll even borrow Dannys strobe light and do the smoke machine/lighting for the night

    it's already happening?

    Mark Maitland
    Simon Garrington
    Bigger than Jesus
    ...to name a few.

The best back room Evolve hosted was when it presented Hooked, they put there own headliners on (I belive it was Surgeon & Regis?) was quality.
They should do more of this without a shadow of a doubt, evolve presents:

    Hooked
    Freaky Dancing
    Error
    Habit

all would be a quality alternative from the main room!

Theres obviously going to be other ones in the future isnt there

Dont moan about it if you aint gonna do anything about it ;)

Not really sure why any of those nights would want to do it when they are doing perfectly well themselves?

I was thinking more along the lines of what crasher used to do with the electric box, young up & coming djs who hadn't had much of a chance to play in a club or whatever, as opposed to clubnights from cities far far away which have done nothing to deserve the slot imo.

And of course, garrington, btj, etc are still on though...

Not a whinge, just a thought...
