    Thoughts?

    I am pleased with it.

Avioding Holland and Spain were of upmost importance.

Id rather play Messi than RVP today. Its very possible to stop Messi with the right tactics which is why he dosnt have many great games at int level but I cant see ANYWAYof stopping the RVP who for me is one of the most in form strikers in the world atm.

i'd have preferred group A but it could have been worse. Knowing england we will lose 1-0 to ukraine and blame the intense and hostile atmosphere, france are usualy quite keen to give us a footballing lesson whenever they find themselves on the same playing surface and id even be surprised if we get any more than a draw against sweden. I'd say a lot depends on which players he is prepared to take. I think some of the older ones need to be left at home, like lampard for example who was shite yesterday against newcastle and got taken off and thats not just based on his penalty being saved either.

Think the french are the only real worry but again are not united as a team which works in our favour we really need to bring though the youth and let go of some of the older players they had there chances blew then and most are hardly good role models for the likes of Jack Wiltshire Daniel Sturridge, Chris Smallling and Phil Jones.

Need to get a more focussed and settled team and we should get out the group as winners.

    Never watch em since SA.

Wont again till they sack the likes of Cole, Terry and Lamps. We need some young bucks who want to do it for the glory not the glamour
