Typical small-minded / small club mentality - celebrate beating their poor local rivals and remaining in the relegation zone like they've won the Champions League. The win will be utterly meaningless when you's are playing in the Championship next season. xx
losing 4-0 to Swansea beating a poor NUFC (winning goal scored by a player who isn't even yours) STILL in bottom 3. Like every SAFC fan ever, zero ambition, short-term thinking and never looking at the bigger picture.
Like I said, bigger picture. They can have the 2-1. Don't know what's funnier, scoring an own goal and having 2 players sent off in the first half, or getting beat off Steve Bruce...... Stoke's keeper now has as many Premier League goals as Altidore
They play Southampton and Man City next two games, can't see them getting anything out of those games but you never know
How's that win v us looking now, all the way from down there? Totally meaningless beating the likes of us and Man City if you can't beat Fulham, Hull, Palace and Stoke. That's how you stay up, by beating the teams around you, not by fluking a win against a couple of top 10 teams. And a -16 goal difference isn't going to help.
Wes Orange was unlucky to get Red but its comical that he was just being praised earlier in the week for stabilising their defence since coming back from injury and now he's out again! You couldn't make it up
Was an unlucky red card, but they were a goal down at the time, a fact that most of their fans seem to have forgotten because of the red card, and are blaming that for the defeat. They still probably would have lost, they haven't come back from being a goal down all season.
how's that 2-1 looking now????? all other teams in and around them winning, 5 adrift at the bottom, need to show league winning form to stay up shame....
Getting rinsed on twitter for posting daft stuff like this: https://twitter.com/phil_conway/status/409332712798171136
