a mornings ableton session spent a few hours on ableton this morning and this is the result: http://soundcloud.com/danieljobson1986-1/daniel-jobson-autumn-calls any comments/feedback much appreciated
Seriously though mate, it's got a nice little deep vibe to it. Gorge/Plastic City-esque... Will be good to hear the finished article once it's done.
cheers mate, didn't know how to take your first comment lol everytime i try to go for a nice tough deep sounding track it always ends up going quite progressive, really annoying! this is probably the first time i've managed not to do that, quite like it so far will be having another go at it through the week so should get an update on soon
Aye, I was just winding you up. The track has potential. There's loads of tracks out there that are shit compared to this that have been signed to big labels. No offence, it's nothing groundbreaking or complex, but it's got a nice simple groove and with a bit more time spent on it, it could be a solid little deep house track.
cheers mate, appreciate the feedback, it's like drawing water from a stone sometimes feel like i'm gettin there with the production, like you say nothing groundbreaking but being able to put together a good solid track is good enough for me at this stage
cheers lads spent the night turning this into a proper track, re-uploaded on soundcloud http://soundcloud.com/danieljobson1986-1/daniel-jobson-autumn-calls
