Its not that bad, but I totally know what you mean about the spanish city. The shops in front of it are all run down and it just looks awful  There used to be arcades and little sweet shops and stuff it was really cute - now it just looks grey like the weather  Whitley bay used to be mint

Apart from near the icerink don't even know if thats whitley bay...infact the houses are so expensive here, Whitley high school gets some of the highest grades in north east and we have all new shopping centre etc :) ...I don't think North Shields etc are that nice though...

North Shields town centre on a saturday morning is the visual equivalent of the word Council Family

Arthurs Hill where I live is pretty horrific , all made better by the charver family down the street from us who spend their summer days sitting out on the street in a paddling pool drinking cans of tesco lager and listening to hardcore loud as fvck

Wouldnt be so bad if they lived in a nice area but the street is covered in dog sh1t and broken glass

Longbenton before all the re-development used to be the same altho i still used to get pissed at the shops on a fri night

Are places like Cowgate / Fenham and the likes getting better nowadays??

When you pass thru on way to Metro Centre or somewhere else as much as they have done some of the houses up some areas are still

Byker and the St Peters Basin area along the Tyne there. You've got the quayside then it suddenly stops and turns into a dull industrial shit hole. There are currently huge regeneration plans for the area. British Engines are recieving offers and most likely going to relocate in the next few years. I think they are basically going to flatten the place and build loads of modern media type buildings and quayside pent houses. Massive amounts of money involved. There would have to be to move a site as big as British Engines.

    where abouts?

Princess Towers has been in various streets in Arthurs Hill for about five years.

Beaconsfield as lively, Dilston very multicultural and Sidney is about the best IMO.

i beg your pardon love i thought you said seaham there    . seaham is the epitome of human civilisation. the place is a secluded paradise.

on a serious note, seahm could do with a spot of nuclear fallout in a few areas just to sort out the riff raff, but at the mo seahams doing canny. town centres shite but there are plenty of nice areas.

Which part are you denying? It "doesn't" what exactly?

I work in one part of the byker quayside and it could do with demolishing. It's absolutely rank. Are you going to generalise the whole of the byker quayside or are you just being pedantic? It's clear that I'm reffering to the industrial area down on the Byker Quayside and not some exotic penthouse that you can see from your window.
