ollege courses I know this might be a bit late now but i was wondering would people reckon going to college is the best way to do courses or does people think on line learning is ok?
Re: Re: ollege courses hmmm.....will try to find a course that starts in january then...am going to try learning a language!
im doing a learn from home course, seems to be alright. means i can work full time and still get a degree which is good imo
were you thinking learn direct? i run a contract for them... nice idea, doesnt work though... what language you gonna learn?
I'm going to try to learn japanese...even if i can only get the basics then it means when i go back to Japan i can at least try speaking to them...& i might understand when Mrs A talks in Japapanese about me!
Haha - DITTO! I started japanese classes at college a fortnight ago Ruth - I go on tuesday evenings from 7-9pm - 70 quid for 10 weeks, then theres another 15/20 weeks next year. Well worth it and 100 times better than doing it online or anything, having a teacher and other people around makes it much more interesting, and fun! Guildford college - only 300 miles away from newcastle unfortunately Most night classes usually start the same time as the uni/school/college terms so your best off trying to join asap or waiting for the january intakes perhaps.
booo hisss....move up here! i think i'll try in january cos if its a short course they usually do 2 in a yr! it'd b good to learn cos of the language barrier i managed to volunteer myself to pick potatoes for free, wash dishes, etc etc
i should also do a college course in computers...if i'm capable of it i'm going to try to post a few pics of my hols at the weekend! don't hold ya breaths tho peeps, it cud go horribly wrong!
