I think he's absolutely fantastic! My father in law to be is a top clinical psychologist and talks so highly about him and how gifted he is. Although some of the stuff he does looks obvious, to be able to manipulate someone the way he does is incredible.

the psychology he uses is very clever...i watched the psychology behing him picking the shooter for the russian rullette thing he did!

Think I caught some of his show last week, and a little bit of it this week.

Last week though, he met up with some fella at a greyhound track..and told this guy to back the dog which he thought would lose. So he did...Once the race was over he told him to go to the tote claiming he had the winning ticket, which he did...and they paid out :spangled:

They did this a few times before telling this woman that they didn't have the winning ticket, after she'd already paid out. Obviously he read back their rules that "mistakes with cash cannot be rectified"...she was confused as fuck...and so was I!

Sum people @ me work (big scarey lookin old hospital up north) are doin it monday nite. Tempted to sneak in on me nite off, hide somewhere & scare the shit out of em.

They'll probably scare themselve silly tho, must b loadsa spirits in hospitals eh?

The Mind Control series is very well presented and very cleverly put together - so well so that people ACTUALLY believe that Derren can control people through the use of psychology. Do you ACTUALLY believe that David Copperfield can fly???

Interesting fact - the show was originally written by and for Andy Nyman - the program was originally going to be "Andy Nyman Mind Control" but Andy decided he didn't want to become famous as a magician, but as an actor instead (he is also a professional actor). So the show was given to Derren, and Andy directed the first one I believe.
