Bunker Dance

“<b><i>Bunker Dance</i></b> (www.bunkerdance.co.uk coming soon) is here to help promote and support local and not so local House and Techno DJ’s and producers. We exist to champion the N.E England Dance music scene firstly and secondly the rest of the world wide Dance music scene as a whole.

We also run <i>Dance music</i> related music workshops with the aim of bringing the scene to a wider audience”.


<i>Bunker Dance</i> is based at <i>The Bunker Rehearsal & Recording studios</i> (www.bunkeruk.com) and was formed in 2009. Our aim then was to help promote locally produced dance music by any means necessary. Our workshops and recording sections were brought to life soon after in early 2010. The roles of these new sections were to expose the Dance scene to people form all walks of life, providing excellent music production, DJ’ing and recording workshops and courses.


We have now secured a weekly radio show broadcasting on 107 Spark FM (sparksunderland.com).
Every Friday night we play 2 hours of house under 128 bpm with <i>Liam Huitson</i> and 2 hours of more up-tempo tunes with <i>Seb O</i>. This is where we showcase local + word wide tunes & DJ's. And recently Paul Welford joined our ranks where he plays 2 hours of alternating dance genres every fortnight.
